Robin Deas

Robin G. Deas, the telephone man, 69, Ocklawaha, FL passed away, February 8, 2023.

He was born in Perrine, Florida to the late James Alvis Deas II and Pauline Buzzell Deas. He moved to the Ocala National Forest in 1972 where he met his wife, LuAnn and they built their family. Robin worked for the phone company and retired from Embarq in 2008.

He spent his childhood hunting the Everglades and his summers at the farm in Massachusetts, and was always up to some sort of mischief.

Robin never met a stranger. He love spending time with his family. You could always find him outdoors treasure hunting or visiting with just about everyone.

In addition to his wife, LuAnn, he was also preceded in death by his brother Jimmy and sister Becky. He leaves behind his sister Edie Tobias; his three girls, Susan Cahill(Travis); Sherree Thomas(Ricky); and Saylor Deas(Jason Riggs); and three grandsons, JT, Donald, and Flint .

Please join his family for fireworks and a potluck  to celebrate in his memory on March 4th, 2023 at 5 PM. 17145 SE 80th Place, Ocklawaha, FL 32179.
