Allene Jackson

Allene Marie Jackson, 86, of Ocala, FL, went to be with her Savior on September 13, 2022 at home, surrounded by her family.

She was born on September 5, 1936, to the late Earl and Senia Caruthers, in Gadsen, Alabama, but lived most of her life in Ocala.

Allene loved her family dearly and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She was a friend to many and had a heart filled with God’s love.  She lived a life of great courage and compassion.

Allene leaves behind to cherish her memory, Jimmy, her husband of over 67 years, son Rick Jackson (Julie), daughter Tammy Jackson King (Brad), grandchildren Brian (Shelby), Kevin (Carley), Hunter (Samantha), Andrew (Amber), Brooke (Taylor), Chase (Rachel) and Caydee, 11 great-grandchildren and brother Jimmy Millican.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Senia, step-father Elmer Millican, brothers Billy and Chester Caruthers and sisters Loretta and Betty Caruthers.

A memorial service to celebrate this beautiful life will be held Tuesday, September 20th @ 2pm in the Chapel at College Road Baptist Church, 5010 SW College Rd., Ocala, led by Dr. Ed Johnson.

Countryside Funeral Home has been entrusted with the cremation arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Marion County.
