CHILDERS, ALMA ELAINE
Alma Elaine Childers, 69, of Ocala passed away on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018 at Ocala Regional Medical Center. She was born in Lowell to Sol David Gladdin and Ida Mae Harrell Gladdin and had lived most of her life in Ocala. She was a very active member for Unity Baptist Church in Anthony and an avid crafter.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, John T. Childers, her sons, Roger and Steven Kiser, her daughter, Ashley Harris, her sister, Peggy Smith, her brothers, Danny, J.P. and J.W. Gladdin, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018 at 12 noon at Unity Baptist Church with visitation at 11:00 AM. with Rev. Samuel W. Clements officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home.
