Angelina Radivoj

Angelina Radivoj, 85, passed away September 27, 2021 in Ocala, FL. She was born
September 13, 1936 to Mihai Bandu and Juliana Bucu in Torak, Yugoslavia. She was a
beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is preceded by her parents; her two brothers Pavel and Titu; and son Tavi.

She is survived by her husband, Jovan (Nita) Radivoj; son Jonel and Jelena
(Deminesku); daughter Lija and Miroslav Bradican; granddaughter Alexandra and Louis
Kortyka; granddaughter Bridgid and Jeremy Harrell; grandson Stevan and Emily
(Sayer); great grandchildren Raven, Bailey, Sydney, Ethan, Jonathan, Lyla and Charlie.
Angelina immigrated to Lakewood, Ohio in 1969 with her husband and children. This is
where the family began their lives in a foreign country, in a community of friends and
family from the homeland. In 1975 the family moved to Hollywood, Florida where she
became an avid member of the Holy Cross Romanian Orthodox Church. After
retirement she and her husband moved to Ocala, Florida to be with their son and his
family. During this time “Gelina” spent a lot of time baking her famous cookies and
cakes, taking care of her flowers and spending as much time outside as possible.

A Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 1, 2021 at Countryside Funeral Home.

Visitation will be begin one hour prior. Interment to follow at Anthony Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Estelle’s House (Hospice Care).
