Anneca Greco

GRECO, Anneca Elaine

Ocala - Anneca Elaine Greco, 86, passed away at home on April 21, 2020, in Ocala,
Florida after her battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was born on December 24,
1933, to the late Charles and Kathryn H. Paggi, in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
She is preceded in death (by five hours) by her loving husband, Anthony “Tony”
Peter Greco, Sr.
She is survived by her son, Anthony (Melissa) Greco, Jr.; daughters, Diane (Rick)
Halabrin, Patricia (late Harold) Young, and Kathryn (Dave) Ousley. She also leaves
behind 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren,
along with many loving nieces and nephews.
Anneca was the oldest daughter of eleven children. She grew up in Victory,
Wisconsin.
She worked as a waitress at the local diner in La Crosse where she met her soon
to be husband, Tony. Three months later they married in Desoto, Wisconsin. They
moved to her husband’s hometown, Elmwood Park, Illinois, where they raised
their family. Anneca was a stay at home mom until she helped her husband, Tony,
in his many business ventures.
From Elmwood Park, they moved to Palatine, Illinois, Hoffman Estates, Illinois,
and then to Florida where they retired. She loved cooking with her husband,
making jokes, and taking care of her family.
Her and her husband shared the same birthday, December 24th, and they passed
away within hours of each other on April 21st, 2020.
Final resting arrangements are under care of Funeral Home in Anthony, FL. A
Celebration of Life will be held in Illinois.
