Arlene Rutherford

Arlene M. Rutherford, 80, passed away January 4, 2019 in Raleigh, NC.  She was born on June 9, 1938 in Shacklefords, VA to Samuel and Elizabeth (Milby) Massey.

Arlene is survived by her daughter, Denise Matthias; brothers Robert, Sam, Bill, Richard and Charles Massey; sister, Betty Newton and grandchildren, Katherine, Billy, Ireland, Justin and Cody.  She was preceded by her loving husband, Bill and son, William "Billy" Rutherford.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Countryside Funeral Home, with Pastor Samuel W. Clements officiating.  Visitation will be at 10:30.  She will be interred privately, at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens, next to her husband Bill.
