Barbara Blankenship

Barbara Ellen Blankenship, 74, passed away peacefully at Kindred Hospital surrounded by her family on July 28, 2022 in Ocala, FL. She was born September 21, 1947 to James M. Nasworth and Myrtle P. Malory in Ocala, FL.

She is preceded by her parents and sister, Gail Broaderick.

She is survived by her loving husband, Edward Paul Blankenship; son, Landon Blankenship and daughter in law Michele; daughters, Paula Hazen and Teresa Steel; half sisters, Beth, Daloree and Debbie; grandchildren; Tabatha Simms, Jeremy Simms, Emily Hazen, Logan Blankenship, Dalton Blankenship, Katlynn Steel, Greggory Steel and Tiffany Steel; great-grandchildren, Aidan Jackson, Nicholas Simms, Layla Simms, Chester Blankenship, Amelia Blankenship and Benson Leiter; great-great-grandchild, Hunter Simms; brother in law, Charlie Broaderick; nephews, Scott Broaderick (Melle) and Craig Broaderick (Teresa); cousin, Avis Hulsman-Besson.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Countryside Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Highland Memorial Park. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home.
