Ocala - Barbara Sue Ray, 66, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 10, 2017. Born December 19, 1950, in Heenon, KY, to Joseph Edward Merkley and Eula Brooke Maynard. She was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Preston Ray and daughter, Bobbie Lee Merkley.
She is survived by her son, James Preston Ray (Leslie); daughters, Donna Rosas (Jesus), Gloria Wade (Mike), Veronica Ray; brothers, Ray Merkley, Keith Eastman; sisters, Betty Johnson, Alfredia Espinosa, Cynthia Ann Gill; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be 12:00 Noon, Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Friendship Baptist Church, with Pastor Buddy Cranston officiating.
