Ocala-Betty A. Hirsch, age 86, of Ocala, died on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Sylvia's Hospice House. Betty was born in Camden, N.J. on January 1, 1929. She was the second daughter of John E. Radcliffe and Anne M. Radcliffe. She lived in Baltimore, MD working as a bookkeeper until relocating to Ocala, FL in 1979. Prior to her retirement at age 65, she worked for Pall Corp., Pneumatic Products in payroll.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William J. Hirsch, stepfather Francis V. Linnbaum, stepmother Dorothy E. Radcliffe, and her beloved sisters and their husbands, Jeanne M. Almony and Charles H. Almony, Nancy L. Holcomb and Jesse "Whitey" Holcomb.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jeanne E. Barkley and husband Paul Barkley of Sykesville, MD and Deborah A. Harrison and husband Kevin Harrison of Ocala, FL., four grandchildren William Barkley, Katherine Crawford, Charles "Jon" Thomas and Jared Thomas, 3 great grandchildren, James and Charlie Crawford and Brigid Barkley, and devoted friends Donna and Jewitt Springer of Ocala, FL. Family and friends are gathering for a private celebration of Betty's life in lieu of a memorial service. Contributions in Mrs. Hirsch's name can be made to Hospice of Marion County.
