Betty Katherine Walker

Betty Katherine Walker, age 93, of Ocala, Florida passed away on July 15, 2024. She was born on April 22, 1931, in Bonne Terre Missouri , a daughter of Leo and Nellie DeClue. And married to the late Charlie D.Walker Ocala

She leaves behind to cherish her memory; Sons Mike Brown (Darlene) Gainesville Mark Walker (Angie) Ocala Daughters Linda Fulford Ocala Connie Williams (Barry) Ocala Carol Whitney Rock Springs WY. She came from a large family of 14. She had seven brothers and six sisters. She had 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.

She was well-known among the local Ocala restaurants as a waitress, and she knew what her customers liked when they walked in the door. She really enjoyed working in the yard, sewing, cooking which no one could Master her apple dumplings. She was of Baptist faith and they attended Church of the Springs when dad was still living. She passed away peacefully in the care of Life Care of Ocala family beside her….

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. 

Countryside Funeral Home has been entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
