Beverly Waldron

December 7, 1931 — March 18, 2016

Citra - Beverly Jean Waldron passed away at home on March 18, 2016.  Born in Rock Springs, Wyoming, she moved to Marion County 28 years ago from Long Beach, CA.  She was a mother and housewife.  Preceded in death by two children, Melissa and Scott; she is survived by her husband, Harold N. Waldron; son, Kyle Waldron, Citra; daughter, Lillian Waldron, Anthony; five grandchildren, Renee Andronczyk, Racine, WI; Margot Gilmore, Ocala, FL; Aimee Touchet, Ocala, FL; Michelle Lopez, Ocala, FL; and Amber Waldron, Tempe, AZ and twelve great-grandchildren.

Beverly was an avid animal lover, especially her dogs Cujo and Rose. She also loved to visit the local humane society to give the dogs a snack or a toy. She loved driving her Corvette and was a member of the local Corvette Club for many years. She enjoyed a good game of Cribbage with her husband Harold, scrabble, crossword puzzles, and playing word games on the computer. She also enjoyed visiting Florida parks and swimming in the natural springs, especially at Silver Glen. On nice cool days and evenings, it was typical to find Beverly out weeding her garden or tending her flowers. Some of her best times were spent visiting with her best friend Mary Alice enjoying a good cup of coffee and wonderful conversation.

Special thanks to Care Time elderly care specialists. They were so kind and helpful to the entire family.

Funeral service will be held at Noon, Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at Countryside Funeral Home Chapel, 9185 NE Jacksonville Rd., Anthony, FL.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
