GREER, Billie Ann Baker
Ocala – Billie Ann Baker Greer passed away January 6, 2016 at Hospice of Marion County, FL.  She was eighty-four. Born in Charlotte, NC, she was the daughter of Jesse and Mary Baker.  Her father, Jesse Baker served in World War I and was a detective of Charlotte Mecklenburg County Police Department for over 30 years.  Her mother Mary (Bennett) Baker was originally from Ash, NC.  She moved to Charlotte in the early twenties and was a graduate of Queens College.  She worked as a secretary at various businesses and retired from Fox Film Exchange.  Billie Ann came to Ocala, FL in 1972.  She worked as a dietician at Marion County Community Hospital for several years.  Her survivors are her daughter, Sarah (Brian) Hunt of St. Augustine, FL; sons, Robert Michael Greer of Ocala, James Bradley Greer of Ocala; grandchildren are Mary LeAnn Barker of Port Orange, FL, Catherine Brooke Hunt of St. Augustine, FL and Kayden Andrew Greer of Ocala, FL.  A family service will be held at Ocean Island Beach, NC at a later date.
