Ocala - Bonnie Fay Powell, 79, passed away March 12, 2017. Bonnie was born on January 24, 1938 in Boaz, Alabama. She was an avid gardener and was known by many to have a green thumb. She retired from Walgreens after thirty years as a Pharmacy Technician.
She is survived by her loving husband, William "Bill" Powell; daughter, Karen Gaynor; 2 sons, Billy and Keith Powell; 4 sisters, Barbara Russell, Mary Jo Pearce, Florene Sams and Corene Gregory, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Coy and Clara Pike Hopper and by a sister, Betty Ellis.
Memorial Service will be at 2:00pm, April 9th, 2017 at Countryside Funeral Home, officiated by her brother-in-law Pastor Freddie Russell. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
