Brenda Doerr Clark, 56, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2016. She was born in Eustis, Florida on July 18, 1960, to Carl and Trudy Doerr. Brenda lived in Central Florida her entire life and graduated from Forest High School. She was a very proud mother to her children and grandchildren. On December 30, 1994, Brenda married her soulmate and best friend, Richard "Dick" Clark. She was known to be an amazing cook, a lover of good music, and an admirer of beautiful flowers. Her biggest joy was her seven children, six grandchildren, niece and nephew. She loved being "MeeMaw" which was her favorite name.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Michele Bankhead; and father, Carl Doerr. Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Dick Clark; Mother, Trudy Doerr; brother, Russ Doerr; children, Lena Mather, Richard Clark, Keith Bankhead (Jennifer), Daniel, Bryant (Margie), and Kristy Clark (Philip); grandchildren, Alston and Nicole Mather, Michael and Jaxon Bankhead, Owen Johnson, and Bryant Clark, Jr; niece, Grace; nephew, Tré; and many other friends and family.
Flowers are greatly appreciated and donations can be made in her name to the Hospice of Marion County. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 4, 2016 at 1:30pm, at Countyside Funeral Home, Anthony, Fl. Interment will follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens, Ocala, Fl.
