Brenda Long

Palmetto - Brenda Renee Long, 56, entered into Heaven's gates, June 16, 2016. Born October 25, 1959 in Waynesburg, PA to Daniel E. Long Sr. and Janice Louise Gallatin Long. She worked in county government as a clerk. Brenda had a love for music and she, along with her family, played gospel music throughout the United States. She loved the water and enjoyed going to the beach even though she wasn't a great swimmer. She was heavily involved in her church, working with the youth band and sanctuary ensemble. She had an Associates degree in Criminal Justice.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Janice Long. She is survived by her father, Daniel E. Long Sr; brothers, Daniel E. Long Jr. (Lori) and Benjamin W. Long (Ashley). Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL with Pastor Lewis Brady officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior. A private Interment will be held at Highland Memorial Park, Ocala, FL.
