Brooke Gonzalez

Ocala – Brooke Ashlee Gonzalez, 19, passed away tragically April 25, 2016 in Pasco-Hernando County. She was born in Pembroke Pines on May 28, 1996 to Luis R. Gonzalez and Wendy L. Donaldson. Brooke graduated from North Marion High School and was a Class 5-A all-state selected softball player. She was sophomore at Pasco Hernando State College, playing a leader for the PHSC Conquistadors softball team on a softball scholarship. Graduating with her AA. Brooke also loved being in the Gulf on the boat fishing with the family and kayaking. Brooke was an exceptional daughter, sister, aunt, friend, Teammate and athlete. She was a beautiful person inside and out and will be greatly missed. Her inspiration touched many lives.
She is survived by her parents, Luis and Wendy Gonzalez; brothers, Bryan and Luis (Danielle, Aaron, Barbara), nephew baby Carter, paternal grandfather Luis, Tia Mima & Tio Tano, maternal Aunt Brenda & Aunt Lil & Larry and many other family members.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Unity Baptist Church 1300 NE 100th Street, Anthony, FL 34479 at 10am followed by Funeral Service at 12 noon, with Pastor Gene Cone officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations for Brooke's beloved nephew, Carter, who is waiting for a liver transplant.
