Cathrin Annette Watson

September 10, 1938 — June 29, 2024

Cathrin Annette Watson went to her eternal home on June 29, 2024. She was born on September 10, 1938 in Wrightsville, Georgia, a daughter of Theodore and Kathaleen Rich.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Reverend James (Randy) Watson of 60 years.

Annette was saved at age five; and on a Sunday night in Kannapolis, North Carolina, with her head pillowed in her mother’s lap, she received the Holy Spirit. She had her first speaking engagement at age seven, when the pastor asked her to stand in church and recite Psalm 23; and that was the beginning.

She moved to Florida in 1958 and began full-time ministry in 1959. She evangelized in word and song for five years in multiple states. After she married Randy Watson, they evangelized for six years as a team before beginning pastoring in Wildwood and Ocala, Florida with the last 33 years at Living Waters Worship Center. They retired from pastoring in 2010.

Annette served on the Women’s Ministries Board for the Churches of God International, Cleveland, Tennessee. She also served on the State Women’s Ministries Board in Florida for twenty-five years. She has had articles published in Charisma Magazine, The Pentecostal Minister and the Evangel.

The Scripture by which she has patterned her life was, “I will not offer to the Lordthat which costs me nothing” (II Samuel 24:24)
