MUNN, CECELIA LOCKE
Cecelia Locke Munn, 97, was born on Sept. 28, 1920 to Bernard and Ethel Locke of Chiefland. She was a graduate of Chiefland HS and married George T, Munn in 1949. She was a secretary for the U.S. Navy in Washington, DC for 25 years. Mrs. Munn was a former resident of Gainesville where she was a member of Northside Baptist Church. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge for over 60 years. She and her husband George were very active with Meals on Wheels in Virginia and Florida for more than 40 years. Mrs. Munn passed away on Monday, Jan. 15, 2018 at Hampton Manor Deerwood in Ocala.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and brothers Delma and Harold Locke. She is survived by nieces Connie Royalty(Mark) of NC, Reba Faison(Tom) of Gainesville, nephew, Allen Locke(Mary) of Ft. Pierce, Wayne Locke(Barbara) of Chiefland and Del Locke(Becky) of IL and her sister-in-law, Helen Locke Price of Ocala.
Graveside services will be on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Chiefland Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-6 PM at Countryside Funeral home in Anthony, FL. The family wishes to thank Hampton Manor and kindred Hospice for their care and concern.
