Silver Springs – Cecil Farley, 87, passed away peacefully at home, June 2, 2016. Born March 10, 1929 in Hardy, Kentucky, to John Lee and Fern Smith Farley. He moved here from Kentucky in 1955 and was a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Alice Nelson Farley in 2005, son, Cecil Raymond Farley and daughter, Palma Renfroe. He is survived by his daughters, Noreen Schoelch (Michael), Judy Maynard (Timmy), Marcia Olivarez (Joe), Cecilia Varney (Bruce); brothers, Jack Farley, Burl Farley, Steril Farley, Ray Farley; sisters, Mary Yates, Maxine Doan, Phyllis Killilla ; thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and many other numerous family members.
Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 6, 2016 at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Countryside Funeral Home. Interment to follow in the Southern Home Old Regular Baptist Church Cemetery, Citra, FL.
