Ocala - Charles Alton Crosby, Sr, 81, passed away October 29, 2017. Born on April 3, 1936, in Starke, Florida, to Lester and Iris McRae Crosby. Charles has lived in Ocala most all of his life and was a faithful member of Life Tabernacle Church. He was an avid fisherman and loved planting flowers and trees. Charles was "Pops" to all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joyce Eileen Crosby; sons, Charles A. Crosby, Jr., Michael J. Crosby (Michele), Stephen W. Crosby (Margaret); daughters, Rebecca S. Crosby, Jayni L. Crosby(Rickey); brothers, James "Jimmy" V. Crosby, Carl L. Crosby; sisters, Pansy Taylor, Joyce Brodwell, Sue Clay; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren

Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 pm,Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at Life Tabernacle Church of Ocala. Funeral Service will be 11:00 am, Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Life Tabernacle Church of Ocala, with Pastor Timothy Bass officiating. Interment will follow in Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
