Charles Touchton

Charles Lester Touchton, 73, went to be with Jesus August 18, 2018.  Born on June 4, 1945 in Melrose, Georigia to Rufus Lester Touchton and Gladys Johnston Touchton.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Linda; son Charles N. Touchton; grandson Eric Touchton; granddaughter Ishelle S. Touchton; sister Iva Touchton Porter (George) and brother Raymond Y. Touchton (Susan).  He was preceded by his parents and daughter Sherrye LaJune Touchton.

Charles was a retired truck driver and served honorably in the United States Army as a helicopter mechanic.  Additionally, he was a Deacon at Simmons Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Simmons Baptist Church, Citra, FL with Pastors Edgar Woods​ and Joy Perkins officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior, at 10:00 A.M.  Arrangements are under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
