Tygrett, Charles Wayne (Foozy)

Ocala - Charles Wayne Tygrett, 88, passed away December 5, 2020. He was born in Bowling Green, Kentucky on December 11, 1931, to Wilford Tygrett and Hallie (Dossey) Tygrett. He was a retired Machinist Mate in the United States Navy and had later worked at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Memphis, TN.

He is preceded in death by his parents Wilford and Hallie Tygrett, and his sister Celestine Belcher.

He is survived by his wife Elsa (Robbie) Tygrett, of 60 years, son Pastor Kerry Tygrett with his wife Martha, grandchildren: Dustin Tygrett with his wife Melinda, Lauren Fleming with her husband Eric, Josh Murray with his fiancee Carly, and Ryan Murray with his wife Amy. He has four great grandchildren: Emma, Hannah, Olivia and Isaac.

He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Ocala, FL.  He loved his family, fishing and Kentucky Basketball.  "Papa Fooz" will be missed.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the ministry of Trinity Baptist Church, Ocala, FL.

A memorial service will occur on Thursday, December 17th at 10 am at Trinity Baptist Church, 1600 SE 58th Ave. Ocala, FL.
