Charles Edward "Gator" Lyles, 84, passed away peacefully at Hospice on November 24, 2016. Born February 20, 1932 in Ocala, FL, to James W. and Jewell B. Lyles. He has lived in Ocala all of his life and owned his own business here.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Jeanne Lyles; son, Mike Lyles; daughter, Vicki Lyles; sister, Jewell B. Rogers; and two granddaughters, Lauren Lyles, Abbey Folsom.
Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at First Baptist Church, Ocala, FL with Pastor Ed Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Hospice of Marion County, 3231 SW 34th Avenue, Ocala, FL 34474.
