Christopher L Eichorn

Christopher Leroy Eichorn, age 57, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on December 2, 2023. 

Born February 1st, 1966, to Roger and Carol Eichorn, Chris lived his spirited young life in Glasford, Illinois with his twin brother and best friend, Rodney, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  

Chris was a 20-year Air Force Veteran retiring in 2005 at the rank of Technical Sergeant, spending the last 10 years of his service stationed with the 89th Air Mobility Presidential Airlift Group at Andrews Air Force Base in Washington, DC.  Chris continued to pursue his passion for aircraft after his retirement through many roles both professionally and as a volunteer.  

Chris loved to spend time outdoors fishing, hunting, and farming his family’s land in Glasford.  Chris is survived by his wife of 26 years, Laura Macey Eichorn, three daughters Kayla, Zoë and Brianna, his mother Carol, his beloved brother, Rodney, five grandchildren and by many dear friends and extended family members.  

Services will be held on Thursday, December 14th at 4:00 pm at Countryside Funeral Home in Anthony, Florida.  On December 20th, following a private burial ceremony, the family will host a celebration of life at the American Legion Post #35 in Glasford, Illinois at 3:00 p.m.
