Corey Allen Barnes

Corey Allen Barnes, age 34 of Anthony, Florida, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024. He was born on August 4, 1989, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, a son to Drew Barnes and Angela (Porter) Plaskett. He was preceded in death by a brother, John Plaskett.

Corey followed in the footsteps of his father becoming a paramedic and firefighter. He was truly a selfless person who had a heart of gold. Corey would do anything he could to help anyone who needed him.

Corey enjoyed riding his motorcycle and being an uncle to his nephew Leo William Plaskett, the son of Corey's surviving brother Gary Plaskett.

One thing is for sure Corey was fun with a huge sense of humor, and his laugh was contagious!

Corey was a son, grandson, nephew, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Corey will be laid to rest privately at Old Cemetery in Anthony, Florida.
