Dana Ross

Dana Lynn Alvarez Ross ,70, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on September 23, 2022 in Ocala, FL. She was born on August 8, 1952 to Clayton Lee Watson and Martha Anne Hall in Wildwood, FL.

She worked as a teacher before retiring from the Marion County School Board.  She spent her time fishing, vacationing at the beach and spending everyday with her family. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. Her strong and loving spirit will live on forever in our hearts.

She is proceeded in death by her adoptive father, Bill Alvarez. She is survived by her daughters, Ryann Gray (Andrew) and Molly Fishalow; mother, Martha A. Williamson (Richard); grandson, Gamble Gray; brother, David Alvarez (Robin); sister, Raleigh Alvarez Dugger; her long-time love, John Adkison; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and her three beloved dogs.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 5-7 PM at Soleil Bakery & Social House, 56 SE 1st Ave, STE 101, Ocala, FL.
