Daniel Ray Root, 82, passed away non June 2, 2022 in Summerfield, Florida. He was born October 26, 1939 in Lynch, Kentucky to Archie Root and Alabam Smith.

He is survived boy his son, John Christopher Root; daughter, Miranda Root, Christa and Meranda; sister, Brenda Colley; brother, Troy Root; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2022 at Florida National Cemetery
