David Paul Conley

David Paul Conley, age 81, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on March 5, 2024 at home.  He was born on October 13, 1942 in Bell, Florida a son to the late Myron and Marylee (Matthews)Conley.  Paul was an elementary school principal and retired from the Marion County Public Schools.  One of his great passions was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  He rarely missed a home game since 1976.  He was a member of the Kiwanis Club for over 50 years.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted wife Virginia (Hubbard) Conley, a son Scott (Cara) Conley, daughter Cason Conley, two brothers Jimmy (Carolyn) Conley, Lee (Gayle) Conley, five sisters, Louetta Moore, Mary (Ronnie) Henderson, Norma (Jody) Cannon, Barbara (Gary) Newell, Ruth (John) Trainor, and seven grandchildren, Bryson Whitaker, Cheyanne Whitaker, Jeweliann Whitaker, Gabriel Whitaker, Reese Conley, Reagan Conley, Sidney Jean Conley.  He is predeased by his first wife, Jean and two brothers, Warren(Arlene), and Dale (Iris).

A funeral service has been scheduled for Saturday March 9, 2024 at 11:00am at Central Church of Christ.  Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park. Contributions can be made to the Hospice of Marion County.
