Deborah Diane Camp, “Debby”, 73 of Ocala, FL went home to be with her loving Heavenly Father on August 30, 2021. She was born on March 3, 1948 in Ocala, FL as the second daughter of the Reverend Ted L. Camp & Allene Hillman Camp. Debby graduated from Ocala HS in 1966, moving to Gainesville and eventually Jacksonville, where she worked in various hospitals.
After several years she returned to Ocala where she worked for hospice and later cared for her elderly parents.
Debby found joy in the outdoors where she loved gardening, boating, hunting, and fishing. She had a gift for decorating her home, especially at Christmas. She was a devout Christian who loved to sing, study the Word, learn about Jewish history, and served with the Salvation Army.
She is survived by her older sister, Sondra S. Camp of Salem, VA; niece Amy L. Smith of Kitty Hawk, NC; nephew M. Aaron Smith and wife Joanna. M Smith along with great nephew Aldin J. Smith and great niece Lauren A. Smith all of Salem, VA; and including many numerous cousins in the Ocala area. She was preceded in death by her parents and former husband Carl H. Yengle.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Countryside Funeral Home in Anthony, FL and a memorial service will be held at Anthony Cemetery on Saturday, October 23 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to Jewish Voice Ministries International, PO Box 31998, Phoenix, AZ 85046
