Denise Michelle (Karaim) Johnson, age 61, of Anthony, FL passed away on August 5, 2024 surrounded by her family. Denise was born on March 23, 1963 in Johnson City, NY.Denise was a loving wife, sister, aunt and great-aunt. Surviving Denise is her husband of 33 years Earl, sister Lynn Karaim of Lake Jackson TX, sister and brother-in-law Diana (Karaim)/Allen Ashley of Anthony FL, nephew and his wife Brandon Ashley/Dr. Sara Lohbauer of Anthony FL, and two great-nieces Cove Ellawyn and Isla Grey Ashley. She is preceded in death by her mother MaryLou (Williams) Karaim.Denise loved to collect Disney plush and Loungefly backpacks. Recently, she became an enthusiast of collectible glassware. Her “fun” day was going to antique shops and hunting glassware.In addition to her devotion to her family, Denise loved her best buddy Tebow, a Yorkie-Poo, who passed away May 25, 2024. A special thanks goes to all the doctors, nurses and staff at North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, FL that provided care for Denise.Countryside Funeral Home in Anthony, FL has been entrusted with cremation arrangements.Being Denise was such a devoted dog lover, memorial donations can be made in Denise’s name to your local Humane Society or a charitable organization of choice.
