Diana Lori Christofori

August 11, 1959 — March 9, 2025

Diana Lori Christofori, born on August 11, 1959, in Hialeah, Florida, went to heaven on March 9, 2025. She was the daughter of John Garcia and Esther Tsacrios Garcia, a devoted mother to Loren Gerginski (husband Bobby), and a cherished sister to Lana Cunningham (late husband, Richard), Darcie Barron, Amber Carles (husband Carlos), and Marli Glivar. She was also a loving aunt to Ryan, Kayla, and Chad.

Diana’s family extended beyond her immediate relatives, as she remained close with many loved ones from her former marriage of 24 happy years to Mark Christofori, continuing to share deep bonds that lasted a lifetime.

She was a proud graduate of Stranahan High School (Class of 1977) and went on to pursue her passion for nursing at Atlantic Vocational, where she graduated in 1979. Diana dedicated her life to caring for others, both in her long and meaningful career as a nurse at Woodhouse and in the way she selflessly put family and friends before herself for many years. She had a big personality, never afraid to speak her mind, and an incredible ability to lift the spirits of those around her through laughter.

Diana’s love for cooking always brought people together, filling so many homes with warmth and delicious meals that she made with love. In addition to her talents in the kitchen, she was also a gifted artist. Whether painting, making jewelry, or taking on any creative project, she had a natural artistic ability that shined through in everything she touched.

More than anything, Diana’s greatest joy was her family, especially her daughter Loren, to whom she always said, “I love you more.”

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 29th at 2 PM at Redeemer Community Church in Ocala, Florida. Diana will be deeply missed, but her kindness, strength, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
