EMANUEL, Donalda Hoag
Ocala – Donalda H Emanuel, 84, went to be with the Lord on February 13, 2016. Born November 4, 1931 in Buffalo, NY, to Donald Hoag and Elizabeth Gunzlemann Hoag, she moved here from Fort Lauderdale approximately 20 years ago. She worked primarily for Southern Bell/Bell South as a Directory Assistance and (TSPS) operator and then transferred to there Drafting (PLRMS) Department, retiring in 1998. Simultaneously, Mom held many different part time jobs in addition to her full-time employment; often working 2 or 3 jobs at a time to help take care of her family. We never had a shortage of Avon products around the holidays. Her last place of employment was in Ocala for H & R Block as a tax preparer & registered E.A. Agent.
She is preceded in death by her parents and beloved brother Robert B. Hoag, SCPO, US Navy, (Ret.), VA. She is survived by her son, Eric Lee Corbe of Groveland, FL; daughters Candace Equi (Frank) of Ocala, FL, Cheryl Quinton of Mt. Dora, FL and Ernette Lewis(Jesse) of Eustis, FL. She is also survived by grandchildren, Amber C. Ehntholt (Claus), Chance A. Corbe, Raynee L. Reasor, Rick Reasor (Stephanie), Adam Quinton, Jesse Lewis II and Jesse Joshua Lewis; 5 great grandchildren, Ted A. Sanchez, Frank M. Sanchez, Claus H. Ehntholt III, Christian H. Ehntholt, and Chase H. Ehntholt, Sister-In-Law and great friend, Sally Anne Lynch of Virginia Beach, VA, Sisters Betty Ann Stewart of Jefferson, GA and Effie Lewis (Bill) of Pembroke Pines, FL. She is also survived by her beloved pet, Lady DHE. Mom loved all animals and was an ardent supporter of the ASPCA. She was a very independent lady that had a “No Non-sense” way about her but to really know her was to love her.
She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
