Ocala – Donald “Don” Francis Richardson, 74, passed away peacefully at home, May 14, 2016. Born January 27, 1942 in Melbourne, FL to Aaron and Leta Warden Richardson. He moved here in 1946 from Melbourne and owned and operated his own auto mechanic shop. Don was a natural born mechanic. He loved anything with an engine. Not only did he make his living in cars, but they were his most treasured hobby. He loved antique cars, and provided one of his own for the movie Cross Creek, which is now in Don Garlitt's Antique Car Museum. He loved car races of any kind, and was the driver of two racing cars he built himself. He spent many hours building and restoring cars, and if he wasn't doing that, he loved taking people for a ride in them. He has been a long time member of Living Waters Worship Center. He loved serving God and his church.
