Doris E May

Doris E. May, age 83, of Ocala, Florida, passed on gracefully to her next life adventure on November 30, 2024. She was born on June 11, 1941, in Kingsley, Michigan, and she was the daughter of Wendell and Goldie Worm.

She is preceded by her loving husband of almost 40 years, Gerald May. We know they are together in Heaven, and he is leading her around the dance floor just like the good old days. She is also preceded by her parents, and brothers Carl Worm and Maurice Worm. 

She leaves behind to cherish her memory; daughters, Kristi Harding; Kimberly Ryan; sister, Barbara Weber; three grandchildren, Michael Ryan, Nicholas Ryan, Emilee Harding; great grandchild, Reagan; niece Carissa Wilkins, grandnephews Jacob and Matt Wilkins, and nephew John Weber.

Our Mom and Gram was a “best friend” to each of us. She was an amazing cook and self-proclaimed food connoisseur (she was the best!). We will cherish the merry memories of playing card games for hours and going on fun adventures together. Her perfect day was a coffee run, a delicious meal out, and then “shopping ‘til we drop”! We will miss her every minute of every day!
