Dorothy "Dotty" Elizabeth Chase

Dorothy "Dotty" Elizabeth Chase, age 95, of Ocala, Florida (formerly of Baiting Hollow, NY) passed away on April 10, 2025 at Ocala Oaks under the care of Hospice of Marion County. She was born on August 29, 1929, in Baiting Hollow, New York. The daughter of Ralph and Helen Janicken.

Dotty was the owner of Bernie's Bar & Restaurant for 50 plus years. She also worked on the family farm. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and animals.

She is predeceased by Alex Chase, Tony Waskewicz and Bernie Wiwczar.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory; Nancy (Bob) Wesolowski, Maureen (Joe) Amodeo, Annette (Stanley) Jarzombek, Bernice (Kenny) Wiwczar, Peter Waskewicz, Mary Rosko; eighteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.

Countryside Funeral Home has been entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
