Dorothy Lou Sperry

Dorothy Lou (Johnson) Sperry, 74, of Ocala, FL, passed away Friday, Oct., 20, 2023. A 1968 graduate of Vestal High School in Vestal, NY. She was born January 22nd, 1949, in Johnson City, NY to the late Lewis Raymond  Johnson & Rachel Josephine Benedict. She was predeceased by her brothers Bob & Albert “Ray” and sisters Joann & Arlene. She leaves behind, to cherish her memory, two sons Scott Sperry of Ocala, FL & Ryan (Sonya) Sperry of Endicott, NY and two daughters Robin Sperry of Ocala, FL & Stacey (Nick) Olechnowicz of Apalachin, NY as well as siblings Frank (Tiny) Johnson, Linda Collins, of St. Joseph, sisters-in-law Donna Johnson of S. Montrose, PA, & Betty Johnson of Sioux City, IA, and brothers-in-law Fred Sperry of Endicott, NY & Smokey Ellis of St. Joseph, PA, as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, & great-grandchildren, & many special friends. “Mom” to a few, “Aunt Dorky” to several, “Nana” to many, cherished by all. 

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted with Countryside Funeral Home. Interment will be held by the family next summer in the Johnson Family Cemetery in St. Joseph, PA.
