Doshie Fairbairn-Morris

Doshie Ann Fairbairn-Morris, age 92, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on April 4, 2023 at Bridgewater Park.  She was born on March 19, 1931 in Lenore, West Virginia; a daughter to the late Ralph and Ada (York) White.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Melvin, a son Donnie Newsome and a daughter Gail VanAlmen.

Doshie was remembered for her strong faith, her unconditional love for family, friends and everyone she ever met, and her love for birds, flowers and nature of any kind. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, two sons; Lonnie Newsome (Gwen) and Melvin Fairbairn (Shelley). Six daughters; Mary Kuehn, Ada Rhoden, Rella Kelley (Gino), Carolyn Cappelli (Dominick), Connie Aiken and Linda Barlow. She will also be missed by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and even great great grandchildren.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Monday April 10, 2023 at 1:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Good Shepherd Memory Gardens.
