Earnest Young

Earnest Proctor Young, age 79, of Ocala Florida, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on November 3, 2022.  He was born on August 24, 1943 in Belfry, Kentucky a son to the late Hiram and Suzy Mahala (Cline) Young. On January 1, 1963 he married his best friend, Judith Young. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a son, Earnest Dale Young; brothers, James Young, Bill Young and Darrell Young; two sisters, Una Fay Painter and Myrtle Davies.

Earnest leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Judith; sons Brian (Cindy) Young, Eric (Karen) Young; daughters, Cynthia (Rick) Morales, Loretta Young; brother, John Young; sisters Maggie Bullard, Minnie Maynard, Hester Cline; grandchildren Teresa (John) May, Arleen (Edgar) Diaz, Tanner Weldon, Ashley Ohara, Meagan Dalke, Justin (Evie) Young, Emily (Taylor) Johnson, Jacob Young, Kelsey (Jacob) White; thirteen great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Together with his wife of 59 years, they lovingly raised their granddaughter Trinity Myers.

​A funeral service has been scheduled for Monday November 7, 2022 at 11:00am with a visitation for one hour prior at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, Florida. Interment to follow at Southern Home Baptist church cemetery.
