NELSON, Edith Marie

Ocala - Edith Marie Nelson, 93, passed away April 28, 2018 at home. Born November 2, 1924, in Brushy Creek, KY, to the late Earl and Eunice Leedy. She was a loving Christian woman with a strong work ethic and had many different careers including a manager at Six Gun Territory, seamstress, caregiver, loving mother and grandmother.  She loved hosting family gatherings, gardening, fresh vegetables and coffee.

She was preceded in death by her husband William; sisters, Rosie Strawbridge, Dorothy Price; brother, Edgar Leedy. She is survived by her sons, William Nelson Jr., Roger Dale Nelson; daughter, Phyllis Ann Morris (Steve); four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon, Friday, May 4, 2018, at Living Waters Worship Center with Pastor John Childers officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
