Elizabeth Marcum

Elizabeth Vallandingham Marcum, 98, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 1, 2022 in Citra, FL. She was born November 3, 1923 in Rogers Cap, Kentucky to Thomas Drake Vallandingham and Edwina Penn. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and homemaker.

She is preceded by her parents; husband, Clarance Marcum; brother, Bill Vallandingham; son in law, Frank Howard; grandson, Glen Lewis.

She is survived by her sons, Larry Marcum (Laura) and Wayne Marcum (Carlene); daughters, Cherry Lewis and Iva Ray; 9 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren, 1 great-great-great grandchild.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday January 14, 2022 at Citra United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Interment to follow at Citra Cemetery. Pastor Ron McCreary and Pastor Gary Eldred officiating.
