MAYNARD, Elizabeth Anne

Fort McCoy – Elizabeth Anne Perkins Maynard, 75, passed away February 10, 2016 at Estelle’s Hospice House.  Born October 11, 1940 in Birmingham, AL, to Earle David Perkins and Florence Bullard Perkins. A resident of Marion County all her life, she grew up in the First Methodist Church, Worthy Advisor of Rainbow Girls, attended schools in Ocala, and a member of the Ocala High School Marching Band, graduated from Dunnellon High School, class of 1959.  She was part of the beginning of Little Church at Ocala's First Methodist Church. She was a member of the Ocala Junior Woman's Club, an avid knitter, and Bible Study Leader.  Anne will always be remembered for her loving nature to others and her joy spent fishing every chance she could.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dan Perkins. She was an Home Interior Decorator. She is survived by her husband, Andrew Maynard Sr., Fort McCoy, FL; son, Reid (Tonya) Allen, Alachua, FL; step-son, Andrew Maynard Jr. (Karen), Ocala, FL; daughters, Lynne Allen (Ken) Dilello, St. Augustine, FL, Terri Allen Kavanaugh, St. Louis, MO, Lana (Wayne) Blankenship, Ocala, FL; step-daughter, Cynthia Dias Maynard, Ocala, FL; and sisters, Susan Perkins (Ben) Nye, TeulaLee (Phil) Bondank, Faye Perkins Hannigan Miller; and sister-in-law, Diane Perkins, AZ; twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. Memorial Service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Mill Creek Baptist Church, Fort McCoy, FL. Reception to follow the service at the Church open to all family and friends who loved Anne.
