Betty Rose was born to the late William and Elizabeth Schaffer in Morristown NJ on 10/31/1930. She graduated from Dover High School and never lost her school spirit. She retired from banking then moved to FL ending up in Ocala, Fl.
She was predeceased by her daughter Elizabeth (Betty) Ann. She is survived by her devoted, loving husband of 65 years Elmer; her daughter Sandy Kelly and her husband Ray of Ocala; her granddaughters Dawn Flatt and her husband Adam of Mass, Lynn Gonzalez and husband Joseph of Wharton NJ; and great-grandson Joey Gonzalez; nieces Patricia Morgan and her husband Rich, Sherri Jones; and nephew Barry Jones. She was close to her cousins. She leaves behind her BFF Jean McConnell and Dorothy Sarsat of NJ.
Funeral Mass will be 8:30 a.m., Monday, April 11, 2016 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with Father Patrick O'Doherty officiating.
