Elmo Robert Yongue

June 29, 1948 — March 25, 2024

Elmo "Robert" Yongue, age 75, of Silver Springs, Florida passed away on March 25, 2024 at home. He was born on June 29, 1948 in Ocala, Florida, a son to the late Elmo Mack Yongue and Gladys Howell Yongue Clements. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Cora Amanda "Amy" Jane Yongue, and brothers, Henry Yongue and Eddie Yongue.

Robert loved the Florida Gators, his family and friends, and the Lord Jesus with all of his heart. He owned and operated Home Improvement Services of Ocala. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Sharon (Robinson) Yongue, three children: Robert Brenton "Brent" Yongue, Angelique "Angel" Nicole Yongue Craig (Steven Craig), Robert Christian Yongue, brother, Donald Yongue, sister, Renee McPeak, and eight grandchildren, Kelsey, Linnea, Spencer, Ethan, Malachi, Jackson, Jacob, Jeremiah, and one great-granddaughter, Ila.

Robert will be missed dearly by his family and friends. Whether you were related by blood or inherited through marriage and life, he loved you and you knew it.

A Celebration of Life has been scheduled for Saturday April 13, 2024 at 10:00am at Countryside Funeral Home in Anthony, FL.
