Ocala - Captain E. Wesley Braddock, 73, passed away September 20, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born August 31, 1942 in Jacksonville, FL he graduated from Ribault High School in 1962, served four years in the US Navy and moved to Ocala in 1968. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank Bruno and Martha Lee Smith Bruno. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Mary Jane Braddock; son, William Lee Braddock “Billy”, Ocala; sister Ester Bruno, Jacksonville; brother, Frank Bruno Jr. (Debbie), Jacksonville; aunt, uncle, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, cousins, and the entire brotherhood and sisterhood of the Fire Department. He retired from the Ocala Fire Department after 30 years of service in 1999. He was a member of the Maricamp Rd Church of Christ, Elks Lodge, American Legion, and the Moose Lodge. Loyal University of Florida Gator Sports fan and a season football ticket holder for 33 years. He loved the Miami Dolphins, Nascar, golf, fishing and cruising.
Memorial Service will be 11:00am, Monday, September 28, 2015 at Maricamp Rd Church of Christ, 2750 SE Maricamp Rd, Ocala, FL 34471, with Pastor Jeff Robison. Arrangements by Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.

Madison is the 5 year old daughter of a childhood friend of Billy’s that is fighting Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
