Ocala Ferdinand Augustus Grant, 74, passed away Janaury 8, 2016. Born November 16, 1941 in St. Andrew, Jamaica to Charles Joseph Grant and Alice Hall Dixon. He was a mail carrier for the United States Post Office and moved here in 2006 from West Palm Beach.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Alice Grant; sister, Claude Nelson and son Cleveland Grant. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Dianne Grant; sons, Patrick Grant of Wallingford,PA, Michael Grant of Jamaica; daughters, Sophia Grant of West Palm Beach, FL, Althea Grant of Ocala, Alexandria Grant of Tampa, FL; siblings, Melbourne Dixon, Errol Dixon, Betty Dixon and Pearl Dixon, all of Jamaica; and Loreen Dixon Keane of New York; granchildren, Andrew, Joslyn and Timothy all of Ocala, Andre and Brian of West Palm Beach, Paul of Cherryhill, NJ and Joseph of Walingford, PA.
Memorial Service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, Janaury 17, 2016 at Countryside Funeral Home.
