Franklin Brooks Jr.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt Brooks, Jr. age 63, of Ocala, Florida passed away on August 18, 2022.  He was born on March 28, 1959 in Pensacola, Florida to Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Mattie Ruth (Sims) Brooks, Sr.

He is preceded in death by his wife Laura Brooks; father; and two brothers Robert “Tiny” Brooks and Michael Beasley.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory three daughters Natascha Steffen, Alexis Monroe and Franteena Grier (Cedric); mother, Mattie Ruth Brooks; brothers Sylvester “Pop” Sims, David Brooks, Keith Robinson, sisters Barbara Brooks, Sharon “Diane” Brooks, Cynthia “Cynt” Brooks Parker, Cathy Borner, Patricia Borner, Mary Stallworth, Brenda Borner, Sheron Ponds, and grandchildren, Leshon Johnson, Javondrea Woods, Anijah Lewis, Mariah Monroe and Michael Monroe, Jr.

A memorial service has been scheduled for September 3, 2022 at 11:00am at Countryside Funeral Home.  Countryside Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
