Fred C. Reuscher

Fred C. Reuscher, age 82, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on December 26, 2023.  He was born on February 3, 1941 in Newport, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his mother Maxine “Maxie” (Shaver) Hummelgard, grandson Freddie Carver, stepson Terry Hunter and son-in-law Joe Lawlor.   Fred loved his family and his Lord and was a devoted christian serving for more than 50 years at Oakcrest Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, water skiing and in his late 40s took up snow skiing. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 44 years Jewel Marlene Reuscher,  son David (Debbie) Reuscher, two daughters Laura Morgan and Lisa (Glen) Money, two step children Timothy (Kellie) Hunter and Tricia Lawlor,  sister Gail (Adonis) Campbell, fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.   A Celebration of Fred's life has been scheduled for Thursday December 28, 2023 at 11:00am at Oakcrest Baptist Church with visitation from 10:00am-11:00am prior to the service.  Burial will follow in Anthony Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Operation Christmas Child at Oakcrest Baptist Church.  Countryside Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
