Frederick Daunhauer

Frederick Lee Daunhauer, 77, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2018 with his loving wife Sandy at his bedside.  He was born on April 5, 1941, in Louisville, KY, to the late Charles Frederick and Mary Hazel Daunhauer and he moved to Marion County as a boy.  He was a 27-year employee of Winn Dixie Stores and a pastor at Faith Baptist Church in Silver Springs.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother George Daunhauer.  He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sandy McDonald Daunhauer; sons, Chris (Mary) Daunhauer, Steve (Kendra) Daunhauer, Andy (Vanessa) Daunhauer; and grandchildren, Steven Jr., Tyler, Brianna, and Brook.

“Mr. Fred” was well known by children all over the Forest.  He was a tireless worker and an avid reader with many interests.  His greatest loves were his wife and his family, small churches, and preaching the all-surpassing Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 9, 2018, at Faith Baptist Church, Silver Springs, near 40 and 314A, with Rev. Vaughn Faust officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service and burial will follow at Waldena Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
