Ocala - Gary Reid Birchfield, 72, passed away May 12, 2017. Born in Severn, Maryland, on December 30, 1944, to Samuel E. and Edith C. Birchfield. He moved to Ocala from Maryland in 1991 and worked as a carpenter.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, JoAnn; sons, Daniel (Blanche), Ray Greenway; daughters, Tina Spradley (James), Bonnie B. Birchfield (Denise Hall); brothers, Gerald, Chris; sister, Wendy Prahl; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, Florida. Funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, Fl. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, Florida.
