Oxford - George Ernest Johnson, 80, passed away on April 6, 2020, in Oxford, Florida. He was born on August 15, 1939, in Lumberport, West Virginia to George and Geraldine Johnson.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Geraldine Johnson; a son, Daniel  Stephen Johnson; granddaughter, Daina Nicole Whitacre,  great grandson, Dakota Whitacre; brother, Pastor James Johnson; and sister, Wilma Arnett.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Judith Johnson; sons, David Johnson (Linnette) of Sarasota, Florida and John Michael Johnson (Kathy) of Inverness, Florida; and daughters, Deborah Johnson, Bushnell, Florida and Cynthia LeJeune (Steve) Ocala, Florida; 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
